Our Wedding :)

Our Wedding was the most wonderful day. Everything seemed to go perfectly. We were a little worried about the weather. When we got to the temple it looked like it was going to start but by the time we came out of the temple it was beautiful and we got some incredible pictures (thanks to Ken Hoglund).

I had heard from some people that have been married in the Salt Lake Temple that they felt like they were being herded like cattle, but I would have to disagree with them. Of course there were quite a few other brides there but I expected that. But everyone I saw and that helped us made me feel so special. It was perfect.

It was really fun to come out of the temple with everyone there cheering. Brooklyn was pretty tired all day and had a hard time at first with us being dressed up and the fact that Chris and I were the center of attention. But Brookie loved my dress and kept telling me I was a princess. She is such a sweet girl and we are so lucky to have her in our lives. I'm so glad she was able to be there the day we got married.

After the wedding and pictures we went to the Faust's house for the luncheon. It was beautiful. They were so nice to share their backyard with us and I'm so grateful for everyone that helped with the food and everything.

Pretty much right after that we headed over to the reception center and got ready. Everything looked so beautiful. Some of the things weren't quite like I had envisioned but it was still wonderful. We are so grateful to all of those who were able to make it to our wedding, you really all made it so special.

I also want to thank my parents who spent sooo much time and money on our wedding. My parents are amazing I am so blessed to have them as my parents. I've probably forgotten to thank some people so if you're reading this and I left you out I'm very sorry... Thank you everyone!

Well lots of things happened but I think I'll let the pictures tell the rest. Sorry they are in a backwards order but it would take way to long to change the order of all the pictures.

We get our pictures back on Wednesday... Yay!

Our Honeymoon.

Here are some pictures from our honeymoon. We had so much fun. When we got to our room Chris's cute friend Jennifer had set it up so our room was decorated with tons of Happy Honeymoon decorations. We went kayaking through the mangroves (sp?) and a nature walk to a beautiful beach with the clearest warmest water. We saw remnants of a mock up ship they built for one of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. The next day in Nassau we walked around the dirty little city and just hung out on the ship.

We had fun getting to know all the couples we had dinner with. Four out of the five couples had been married either the day we got married or the day after. One of the nights they brought us out a heart cake (also from Jennifer) that said Happy Honeymoon. They sang to everyone at the table but we were the only ones with the cool cake :). The food was so good and we were sad to go home and have to cook for ourselves.

We had lots of fun on our honeymoon but were definitely ready to come home after spending around ten hours in the Orlando airport.

We're still waiting to get our pictures back. Our photographer went to California and Europe right after our wedding. I'll post pictures as soon as we get them. Also our pictures from our honeymoon are on Chris's computer and I can't remember the password to get on the internet... so I'll work on it.

Its hard to be patient.

We got married... and went on the best honeymoon. I'll post pictures later.

TWO WEEKS!!! ... & one year!

I haven't had much to blog about lately. Blogging about being stressed and feeling like I'm losing my mind isn't very exciting.

We are very EXCITED we get BROOKLYN this weekend. If we get a little bit of extra time we might take her SWIMMING.

I am also going through the temple TOMORROW (I'm a little nervous... but excited).

Orem SUMMERFEST is this weekend and we're gonna take Brookie to the PARADE and FIREWORKS. My guess is she'll have more fun THIS year THEN she did last year. Last year the Orem summerfest parade was actually our SECOND DATE. It seems like time has gone so fast. Now we only have TWO WEEKS until the WEDDING. I'm ready to not be stressed over things (everything is under control I'm just going crazy anyway lol). For our honeymoon we're going on a cruise to the BAHAMAS. I'm pretty sure I've mentioned that before but its coming up and we finally have everything taken care of. We are both so excited to go on the cruise and to have a break from work. Yay!
