October Pack Meeting

October Pack Meeting was AWESOME!

One of our boys got his Super Achiever, which is when you earn all of 20 pins you can earn as a Webelos. And we had another boy earn his Arrow of Light. We couldn't be more proud of our den. They really are great

Our scouts mom had a special plaque made for his super achiever.

 

They had a pumpkin sweep game where two teams each swept a pumpkin across the gym with a broom and they took turns going back and forth and the team that finished first won. It was a super fun game and it was fun all of the kids were able to participate.

 

This arrow of light ceremony was great. They had a Tepee and a "fire" and one of the committee members played the drums. I thought the whole thing was great!

 The kids also got to participate in bobbing for apples. One of our scouts did so good he didn't even get wet. I'm still not sure how he managed that. haha

For treats the boys got to decorate their own sugar cookie. yum!

Of course Gavin insisted on bobbing for apples too. He finally just picked one up with his hand. He thinks these scouts are the best.

We had a great time at pack meeting this month and look forward to the pinewood derby next month!
