Brooklyn's Baptism Part 1

Our sweet Brooklyn was Baptized on March 1st. We couldn't be more proud of this sweet girl and the good choices she makes.

The weekend Brooklyn got baptized was our weekend with her and it was fun to spend some extra time with her. We made sure to talk to her about baptism which we had done before but wanted to talk about it on the day she was baptized. Brooklyn got to practice how she would stand with Daddy and hold her hands so she would know what to do when it came to the actual baptism. Gavin got to practice too... our little monkeys are so silly. I tried to talk Brooklyn into having her hair braided but she insisted on having it curly. I thought it was cute how much she loved it. We also were able to get her some white shoes to go with the white dress her mom got her. It was definitely a special day for a special girl. She has so many people who love her and we are all blessed to have her in our lives.

Brooklyn also helped me make some treats for the get together after her baptism. We made cake pops and she made some pink sugar cookies with lemon frosting in her Easy Bake Oven. She is so cute. I love that both of my kids want to be bakers.

I'm waiting for Mimi to send me the pictures she took after the baptism so that's why there will be a part 2.
