California/Disneyland 2013 (Part 1)

This year we had fall break with little Miss Brooklyn so we decided to take advantage of it and go to Disneyland. Mimi and Grandpa were so nice and this was every one's Christmas gift... it was awesome! ... so Thank you!!! Thank you Mom and Dad (aka Mimi and Baka). 

Wednesday Morning started out with Gavin needing his inhaler. He had a runny nose and it just got worse from there. The kids were so excited to fly in a plane.... this was both of their first times in a plane. Gavin loved seeing all of the planes. I think the airport is his new favorite place.

When we got to LA we got our rental car and since it was right about rush hour we headed to the beach to avoid traffic for a bit. By this time Gavin was breathing really shallow and I was starting to get worried. We went to the beach right at sunset. Brooklyn loves the beach. She had previously said she wanted our vacation this year to be just going to a beach but later decided she wanted to go to Disneyland too. Gavin wasn't too sure about the water but loved the sand. I think the fact that he was not feeling well and having such a hard time breathing didn't help much.

Once we got back into the car we were going to go to dinner first but decided we needed to get to the hotel asap so we could use Gavin's nebulizer. You would think as many times as we have had to use that dang thing it would be easier now but it's not he still hates it and fights it. Oh and he was coughing so much he threw up in the car. Thankfully this was before dinner. 

Once we got to the hotel we did a breathing treatment and Grandpa and Daddy gave Gavin a blessing. That night was awful. Gavin slept with me and he didn't sleep a ton. He would wake up almost panicking.. probably because he couldn't really breathe.
