Disneyland 2013 (Part 2)

Thursday morning we got up and got ready, did another breathing treatment with the little man and headed to Disneyland.

The first ride we went on was Pirates of the Caribbean and then to the Haunted Mansion... two of our favorites. Gavin wasn't quite sure how he felt about rides in the beginning.

Love the photo bomb lol.

Aunt Manda was Brooklyn's favorite on this trip. They were ride buddies almost the whole time and Amanda was so good with her. Brooklyn would get upset if Amanda left to go anywhere. Thanks Aunt Manda for being such a good sport.

I think the first time Gavin actually perked up was when we saw Tigger and Pooh. He was so excited.

While Mimi and Grandpa rode Splash Mountain the us girls got our faces painted. Gavin would have gotten his face painted too but he fell asleep and took a little nap.

We're so cute :)

Trying on silly hats is a must... of course.

Chris was very excited when we found out that the Iron Man suits were still on display so we stopped there after Mimi and Grandpa took Gavin back to the hotel with them.

Brooklyn was so excited she was able to go on a lot of the bigger rides this year. She went on Splash Mountain, Space Mountain, Star Tours and I think her favorite was probably the Tower of Terror. She is such a brave little girl. The first time we rode the Tower of Terror there was a little girl (that was bigger than Brooklyn) in the line that said she wouldn't go and they had to let her out of the line. Our little Miss is a brave one... that's for sure.

In line for Space Mountain
In line for Star Tours.
Space Mountain was SOOOOO LOUD!
Tower of Terror picture.  It's so hard to make funny faces when you don't know when they're going to take the picture.

By day 2 at Disneyland Gavin was breathing a whole lot better but still not feeling well. He wouldn't let anyone but me hold him for most of the trip and wouldn't ride in his stroller for a lot of the time either. Sometimes it's nice to be the chosen one and sometimes it's just exhausting.
On the shuttle to Disneyland
Day two was spent at California Adventure. I don't think we planned to spend the whole day there but that's just what happened. Both of the kids had fun riding rides and seeing characters. I think the Characters were Gavin's favorite part of the whole Disney thing.
In line for the Monster Inc. ride.
We just happened to run into Jake and didn't even have to wait in line to get it a picture.... awesome!

Gavin loved Sulley the most. He wasn't scared at all and ran right into his arms.
Hugs.

We went to the Aladdin show and the Disney Junior show which were both hits. If you're going to California Adventure I highly recommend seeing the Aladdin show. It is a great production and the Genie is hilarious.
Dancing at Disney Junior

After lunch Grandpa got us a huge... huge sundae to share from the Ghirardelli store.

Mmmmmm
I think Strawberry was the least favorite flavor.
After lunch we went on lots of rides and had lots of fun walking around the park and seeing all of the sights.

California Screamin

At the petting zoo.
Waiting in line with Mimi.

We found Woody while Brooklyn was on a ride with Grandpa and Amanda.

Little man fell asleep while we were walking around.

The last thing we did that day was ride the Radiator Springs Racers in Cars Land. We got our fast passes as soon as we got into the park for the day and they weren't good until 9:30 at night. I think we were all glad we had the passes and didn't have to wait the 2 hours and 30 minutes in the standby line. It was an awesome ride. If you want to go either get a fast pass or go in the single rider line. You might have to go by yourself but it's better than waiting for two plus hours.
I thought I was so funny stopping and parking Gavin by things and taking pictures...
I felt a little dumb when a man asked if I wanted to be in the picture too lol.
While Daddy and Brooklyn went on the Racers Gavin and I stood in line to get a picture with Mater... they made it back just in time to get in the picture too :)

If you're actually reading this I bet you're glad we only went for 3 days. We have so many pictures...

Part Three is still to come!
